The Substitute Registry provides licensed Center Directors and Family Child Care Providers with a list of potential child care substitutes. It’s an important link between those in need of temporary staff and job seekers looking for employment in the field of early childhood education.

How does the Substitute Registry work?

Center Directors or Family Child Care Providers can call the Registry to obtain names and contact information on potential substitutes. These individuals will have as part of their requirement to be listed on the registry, completed health & safety training, a health screening, TB testing, child development training and either completed or be ready to submit fingerprints and criminal record clearances. Licensed Centers and Family Child Care Homes will receive information on potential substitutes such as:
