CARES ECE Career Advising Services

In collaboration with the Butte College and Chico State Child Development Departments, the CARES Program will be providing on-campus, drop-in early care and education career advising services. These services are for anyone related to the early care and education field.

Core services include:

• CARES eligibility requirements;
• Child Development Permit (issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing) transcript review, matrix advising, application assistance;
• Access to Professional Growth Resource List, which includes trainings, workshops, conferences, online programs, and a list of colleges that provide online/alternative type BA/MA degree programs;
• Information on educational financial resources, including grants, scholarships, etc.
• Job announcements; opportunities.
